The Teddy Bear Shichon Puppy also commonly called a Zuchon is not a purebread dog. It is a cross between the Bichon Frise and the Shih-tzu. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up the temperaments of all breeds in the cross and know that you can get any combination of all characteristics from all breeds involved. Our Teddy Bear Shichon Puppies are products of only 100% pure bred AKC registered Bichon Frise and AKC Shih-Tzu. Note: We do not view the Imperial "Teacup" Shih-Tzu as a legitimate breed and will not breed to produce an unhealthy size "teacup" Shichon.
